Repairs & Mending
Zippers, seams, linings, invisible mending — saved, not discarded. If it can be sewn, it’s worth a second look before it’s thrown out.

Repaired, not replaced
A surprising number of “worn out” garments are one broken part away from a few more years of wear. A failed zipper, a torn lining, a popped seam — these are usually quick, inexpensive fixes that cost far less than buying new.
- Zipper replacement — trousers, jackets, skirts, bags
- Seam repair and reinforcement at stress points
- Lining replacement in coats, blazers and jackets
- Invisible mending on small tears, moth holes and snags
- Button, hook, snap and clasp replacement
- Patch repairs on denim and workwear
Common questions
Repairs & Mending
Often, yes. A stuck zipper is sometimes a lubrication or alignment issue rather than a worn-out zipper. Bring it in and we’ll tell you honestly which it is before charging for a replacement.
On most woven fabrics, yes — invisible mending re-weaves the damaged threads rather than patching over them. Knits and some prints are harder to make fully invisible; we’ll tell you what to expect for your specific fabric.
Almost always, if the fabric itself is still sound. A relined or reinforced coat from a heavier, better fabric usually outperforms a new low-cost replacement.
Many repairs — a zipper, a seam, a button — are same-day or next-day. We’ll confirm a time when you bring it in.
